Financial Literacy

Instructions are provided by certified counselors on issues of credit, including but not
limited to reporting, scoring, improving, and establishing credit. Emphasis is placed on the
importance of credit in today’s marketplace.
A budget review can reveal deficiencies and discrepancies which can lead a counselor to
a realistic recommendation. These sessions focus on unsecured debts and include an educational
component aimed at avoiding future hardships.
